In line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has sanctioned the disbursement of AED 7.72 billion in housing benefits. This third package for 2024 underscores the UAE leadership’s dedication to enhancing the welfare of Emirati citizens and fostering societal stability.
The benefits will reach 5,374 citizens across the emirate, comprising housing loans, residential land grants, and exemptions from loan repayments.
Breakdown of the Benefits Package
- Housing Loans: AED 3.569 billion allocated to assist 2,373 citizens.
- Residential Land and Housing Grants: AED 3.67 billion benefiting 2,540 citizens.
- Loan Exemptions: AED 486 million in housing loan waivers granted to 461 senior citizens, low-income retirees, and families of deceased citizens.
Wider Impact in 2024
With this latest package, the cumulative housing benefits distributed in 2024 now total AED 13.216 billion, benefiting 8,891 citizens. This includes AED 847.2 million in exemptions for 805 citizens, AED 8.361 billion in housing loans for 5,194 beneficiaries, and AED 4 billion in residential grants for 2,892 recipients.
Since its inception, the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) has facilitated AED 162.1 billion in housing benefits, positively impacting over 118,700 citizens.

Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and the ADHA Board of Directors, expressed gratitude for the leadership’s commitment. He stated:
“The distribution of this package highlights our leadership’s continued dedication to enhance the welfare of our citizens and their families, and nurture familial and social cohesion within the emirate, while advancing its comprehensive development.”
Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director-General of ADHA, emphasized:
“The directives to distribute the third housing benefits package exemplify the priority of our leaders, showcasing their steadfast dedication to the wellbeing of Emirati citizens, which is paramount focus on the national agenda.”

This year’s third housing benefits package aligns with the UAE’s Eid Al Etihad celebrations on December 2, symbolizing the nation’s commitment to its people.
