The UAE on August 31 announced the fuel prices for September. In August, rates fell by 1 fil following a slight increase in July.
The revised prices, effective from September 1, are as follows:
• Super 98 petrol will be priced at AED 2.70 per litre, up from AED 2.69 in August.
• Special 95 petrol will be AED 2.58 per litre, compared with AED 2.57 previously.
• E-Plus 91 petrol will cost AED 2.51 per litre, rising from AED 2.50.
• Diesel will be AED 2.66 per litre, down from AED 2.78 in August.
Fuel prices significantly impact inflation, with stable petrol rates helping to manage transportation costs and the prices of goods.
The UAE remains among the 25 countries with the lowest petrol prices worldwide, averaging AED 2.58 per litre.
