TAQA Distribution, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), has partnered with Aldar to advance sustainable, integrated communities across Abu Dhabi. The agreement aims to enhance utility delivery, operational efficiency, and long-term infrastructure reliability, supporting the emirate’s vision for high-quality urban development.
The partnership was formalized by Omar Al Hashmi, CEO of TAQA Distribution, and Adel Abdulla Albreiki, CEO of Aldar Projects.

Under the agreement, both companies will explore collaboration opportunities across Aldar’s infrastructure portfolio. TAQA Distribution will contribute its expertise in utility planning, implementation, and operations throughout various development phases. This includes interim and permanent electricity and water solutions, infrastructure design evaluations, and the integration of innovative, energy-efficient technologies.
The initiative also focuses on enhancing cost-efficiency and utility service management through advanced digital tools, predictive maintenance, and data-driven performance systems.
