The UAE’s Dana Gas PJSC, the region’s largest private sector natural gas producer, posted a second-quarter net profit of USD 30 million, down from USD 34 million in the same period last year.
The decline was driven by lower realised hydrocarbon prices and reduced production in Egypt. The result also fell short of analysts’ average forecast of USD 39 million, according to LSEG data.
Quarterly revenue slumped to USD 73 million from USD 267 million a year earlier. For the first half of 2025, net profit edged up 1% year-on-year to USD 73 million, while revenue slipped to USD 171 million from USD 190 million in H1 2024.
