Dubai Police has been acknowledged as the most reputable law enforcement agency worldwide, according to a recent study by Brand Finance. The force secured the top position in the Institutional Brand Value Index published by the firm, earning a AAA+ rating and a total score of 9.2 out of 10. The ranking followed an in-depth comparative analysis across 10 countries, incorporating feedback from over 8,000 stakeholders and affiliated entities.
The assessment evaluated public perception based on key values such as professionalism, integrity, effectiveness, fairness, and transparency. Dubai Police demonstrated strong community trust and ethical standards, supported by clear communication, cutting-edge service delivery, and a favourable presence in the media, all of which enhanced its international standing.
The report also emphasised Dubai Police’s role in advancing the UAE’s and Dubai’s soft power. According to Brand Finance’s National Brand Report, the force holds a brand value of AED57.9 billion (USD15.8 billion), contributing to the country’s overall brand value of AED4.48 trillion (USD1.2 trillion).
Dubai Police surpassed major international police forces in all 11 evaluated reputation metrics. It achieved significantly higher-than-average global scores in several key areas: fair treatment of individuals (57%), dedication and integrity (60%), safety and security provision (67%), ethical standards (59%), professionalism in interaction (62%), operational efficiency (64%), strong social media presence (57%), open and effective communication (51%), crime prevention innovation (54%), modernity and development (54%), and robust on-ground presence (63%).
