His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, is set to begin an official visit to Oman today, leading a senior delegation.
During the visit, Sheikh Hamdan will meet Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, the ruler of Oman, and hold discussions with high-ranking Omani officials.
The talks will focus on enhancing cooperation and strengthening the long-standing ties between the UAE and Oman.
This visit builds on an important meeting in April 2024, when His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met Sultan Haitham in Abu Dhabi during the Omani leader’s state visit. The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and explored ways to boost collaboration.
The visit will reaffirm the shared commitment of both countries to advancing strategic, economic, and cultural partnerships and is expected to pave the way for deeper cooperation across various sectors.
