The Digital Dubai Authority, responsible for advancing the digital transformation of the Emirate, has entered into a strategic partnership with KAOUN International. This collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding at GITEX GLOBAL 2024 on Tuesday.
KAOUN International, the leading organiser of GITEX events worldwide, will work with the Digital Dubai Authority to bolster its presence within the GITEX ecosystem. The partnership aims to explore new international technology markets while supporting KAOUN International in exhibitor and sponsorship roles.
Together, they will focus on the growth and success of key events such as GITEX AFRICA, GITEX EUROPE, GITEX ASIA, and GITEX GLOBAL, while seeking future collaborative opportunities.
His Excellency (H.E.) Helal Almarri, Director General of Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, commented, “The global strategic partnership between Digital Dubai Authority and GITEX marks the first of many collaborations to foster the sharing, transfer and development of capabilities and expertise with the international digital community to create a universal knowledge economy. The synergy generated from this partnership has the potential to influence positively the digital cities roadmaps of many countries. We value our partner’s expertise in organizing world-class events and view this partnership as a key driver in achieving our mutual goals, aligned with the Dubai Digital Strategy, to solidify Dubai’s position as a global digital hub.”
