Requirements
Replacing your Emirates ID is manageable with the right documents. Here’s what you’ll need:
- For Emiratis: Your family book and original passport.
- For GCC Nationals: Proof of residency in the UAE, such as an employment certificate, school registration, or business license.
- For UAE Residents: Your passport and a copy of your valid residency permit.
Applying for a Replacement
After reporting the loss, you can apply for a replacement at any ICP Customer Happiness Centre. If you prefer digital solutions, you can also apply online through the ICP website or app.
Online Application Steps:
- Visit the ICP website.
- Click ‘Services’.
- Go to the ‘Find Fast’ tab on the left side.
- Select ‘I am’.
- Choose your category: ‘UAE resident’, ‘UAE National’, or ‘GCC National’.

- Click ‘Get Result’ and then ‘Start Service’.
