UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a strong call for unity, security, and safety among the nation’s diverse population.
In a message posted on X, the President underscored the importance of maintaining peaceful coexistence in the UAE, a nation that is home to over 200 nationalities. “More than 200 nationalities live side by side in the UAE, all contributing to the ongoing development of our nation. Security and safety are the bedrock of our society and we encourage everyone who calls the UAE home to uphold these principles of peaceful coexistence and understanding,” Sheikh Mohamed said.
The President’s statement builds on his previous remarks highlighting the central role of the UAE’s people in the nation’s progress. During a Union Day address last December, he emphasized the importance of devotion and selflessness in achieving national goals.
Sheikh Mohamed further paid tribute to the founding fathers of the UAE, including the late Sheikh Zayed, for establishing the strong foundations of unity and loyalty that have propelled the nation’s success.
