The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts fair to partly cloudy weather across the UAE today. Residents should prepare for a drop in horizontal visibility due to fresh to strong winds that may cause blowing dust and sand.
Humidity is expected to rise by night and on Saturday morning, particularly in northern areas where fog or mist formation is likely. The NCM reports that light to moderate winds will blow, becoming fresh to strong at times. This will cause dust and sand to blow, reducing visibility, especially in internal regions.
Winds are expected to blow from the northwest to southwest, reaching speeds up to 50kmph in internal areas and up to 45kmph in mountains, islands, and coastal regions.
The sea will be rough in the morning but will moderate to slight by evening in the Arabian Gulf. In the Oman Sea, conditions will remain slight.
Temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Dubai may reach up to 41℃. Humidity levels in Abu Dhabi will range between 15 per cent to 80 per cent, while in Dubai, it will range between 20 per cent to 70 per cent.
