Dubai, UAE – Tawazun Council and Bayanat, in collaboration with Endless Studios, have announced the launch of the UAE Game Makers Competition 2024. This nationwide contest invites young gaming enthusiasts across the UAE to design games that integrate elements of UAE culture, with a prize pool of AED100,000.
The initiative, which aims to foster future digital skills and spark a learning journey among UAE youth, is expected to significantly contribute to the development of the country’s technological and creative sectors. Tawazun Council, an independent government entity working closely with the Ministry of Defense and security agencies in the UAE, is focused on accelerating ecosystem growth by nationalizing key acquisitions and capabilities, driving local content, and creating in-country value. Shareef Hashim Al Hashmi, CEO of Operations at Tawazun Council, highlighted the competition as part of their commitment to inspiring UAE youth to explore creative and technological fields.
