The Saudi Ministry of Interior is hosting a mobile exhibition titled “No Hajj without a permit” in Madinah, aimed at educating local residents about safe and secure practices during the Hajj pilgrimage.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the ministry’s utilization of artificial intelligence for crowd management during the Hajj pilgrimage. They will also be introduced to the Makkah Route Initiative, which is part of the broader Pilgrim Experience Programme outlined in Saudi Vision 2030 and seeks to support pilgrims. This year marks the sixth implementation of the initiative at 11 airports across seven countries, streamlining the arrival process for pilgrims.
The exhibition showcases the ministry’s dedication to ensuring the security and safety of visitors to the two holy mosques. Attendees can familiarize themselves with emergency reporting procedures through the unified security operations centres, as well as discover the various services available on the Absher electronic platform.
