The Kingdom of Bahrain introduced the Aqari Data Bank, a real estate platform, as part of the e-services unveiled by the Kingdom’s Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
As reported by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Aqari Data Bank serves as a comprehensive platform, offering real estate dealers essential sector information.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, delegated the inauguration of the Real Estate Data Bank platform (Aqari Data Bank) to Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister. The platform is among the e-services recently launched by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
BNA quoted Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister, describing the “Aqari” platform as an innovative service embodying the principles of good governance that underpin government work. Its goal is to enhance collaboration among government agencies and improve strategic planning.
Emphasizing the importance of ongoing development in the real estate sector, the Deputy Premier highlighted its pivotal role in supporting the national economy and contributing to the kingdom’s non-oil GDP, calling for adherence to international standards.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, RERA Chief Executive Officer, noted that the “Aqari” platform establishes an integrated digital environment for 12 government agencies. This unified platform aims to create a reliable and central national source for real estate information, enhancing transparency and becoming a primary destination for all real estate dealers to make informed decisions.
The Aqari Data Bank, functioning as a real estate one-stop shop, offers users a unique experience by providing detailed information on real estate deals, building permits, and both built and unbuilt properties, according to WAM.
