The UAE is poised to unveil the revised petrol prices for December. Petrol and diesel costs witnessed a significant decline throughout the nation in November, following a hike in October.
Over the past 12 months, prices have experienced fluctuations but remain lower compared to the same period last year.
In December 2023, E-Plus 91 was priced at AED 3.13 per litre in November 2022, whereas diesel was set at AED 4.01 per litre. Both are now considerably cheaper, at AED 2.85 per litre and AED 3.42 per litre, respectively. Special 95 and Super 98 are also more economical than in November of the previous year.
Since November 1, the expenses for refuelling vehicles in the UAE have been as follows:
- Special 95: AED 2.92 per litre, down from AED 3.33 in October
- Super 98: AED 3.03 per litre, reduced from AED 3.44 in October
- E-Plus: AED 2.85 per litre, down from AED 3.26 in October
- Diesel: AED 3.42 per litre, compared to AED 3.57 in October
Furthermore, the volatility in petrol prices is also influenced by the surge in crude oil prices worldwide, according to Arabian Business.
