His Excellency Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, the Minister of the UAE’s Ministry of Economy, delivered the opening address at the inaugural SuperBridge Summit on October 16th 2023.
Held at Dubai’s iconic Museum of the Future, the SuperBridge Summit offered a platform for global leaders to engage in discussions about the world’s fastest-growing economies and collaborative opportunities.
In his keynote address, H.E. Minister Al Marri underlined the significance of Dubai as the summit’s location, citing the dynamic changes in the global economy and the UAE’s commitment to fostering international cooperation.
He emphasised the UAE’s readiness to play a pivotal role in creating an investment environment that promotes economic growth and inclusivity.
H.E. Helal Saeed Al Marri, the Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and a Member of the Executive Council of the UAE, also spoke at the opening session of the summit.
He highlighted the importance of bringing people together from around the world to address the challenges and foster economic prosperity, reinforcing the summit’s role in bridging gaps and enhancing global economic well-being.
SuperBridge Summit Day 1: Converging Global Leaders for Investment and Co-Creation Opportunities
The first day of the summit saw more than 500 investors, business leaders, government officials, policy experts, and cultural leaders from 20 countries converge to explore investment and co-creation opportunities in rapidly growing but under-explored markets.
Diverse panel discussions covered critical topics, including the role of public-private partnerships in boosting economic growth, cross-border capital allocation, and the future of sustainable tourism and mobility in the post-COVID era.
Prominent visionaries and industry leaders provided invaluable insights, fostering lively discussions on investment opportunities, economic transformation, and the business ecosystem needed for sustainable growth. The event also featured live performances and engaging showcases, encouraging attendees to contemplate the path to the future.
The SuperBridge Summit Dubai is a pioneering initiative by KAOUN International, a subsidiary of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), and the SuperBridge Council. It was held in partnership with the 43rd edition of GITEX Global, one of the world’s largest and most influential tech events, which attracted tech executives and investors from 180 countries.
