According to data supplied by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), 2,704 real estate transactions totaling over AED 13B were made during the week ending January 20, 2023. According to the DLD data, 1,944 flats and villas were bought for AED 4.39B, while 235 plots were sold for AED 1.13B.
The top three sales were a land in Al Thanyah Fifth sold for AED 77.23M, a land in Al Hebiah Fifth sold for AED 25.12M, and a land in Warsan Fourth sold for AED 25M, according to WAM. This week, Al Hebiah Fifth had the most sales transactions with 134 transactions totaling AED 451.18M, followed by Al Jadaf with 26 transactions totaling AED 134.83M and Jabal Ali First with 14 transactions totaling AED 49M.
The top three apartment and villa transactions were a villa in Island 2 for AED 73M, an apartment in Al Wasl for AED 73M, and one in Wadi Al Safa 5 for AED 135M. For the week, mortgaged property totaled AED 7.01B. In the meantime, first-degree relatives received grants for 104 homes totaling AED 1B.
