The General Directorate of Passports, acting on behalf of the Interior Ministry, has introduced a new passport stamp in honour of Saudi Arabia’s 92nd National Day.
The new stamp is part of the country’s National Day celebrations.
Travelers departing and arriving through the international ports of the Kingdom will have their passports stamped as “documentation and symbol of the National Day,” SPA said.
The stamp contains the visual identity of the National Day’s date, which falls every year on September 23, to celebrate the unification of the Kingdom by its founder King Abdul Aziz bin Abdulrahman.
Aside from this, the Kingdom will also see a virtual celebration, which runs from September 22 until September 24, adding on to the celebrations.
The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) and The Bold Group of Saudi Arabia have collaborated on the celebration, which will let attendees experience Saudi culture digitally and “wear” traditional clothing in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFT).
