His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has sanctioned the construction of a new three-lane bridge.
The bridge will link Mleiha Road with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Bridge at the junction of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street and Mleiha Road. The project carries an estimated investment of AED140 million.
Construction is set to commence immediately, with completion targeted within 12 months. The development is expected to enhance traffic movement across all directions and reduce journey times by nearly nine minutes.
