Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zones (RAKEZ) has, since its establishment in April 2017, solidified its standing as one of the UAE’s leading investment and business enablers. This progress is anchored in its vision to offer a flexible business environment, robust infrastructure, and a fully integrated service ecosystem aligned with evolving investor requirements and global economic shifts.
Over a relatively short period, RAKEZ has transitioned from a regionally oriented zone into a dynamic economic platform. It now plays a central role in driving Ras Al Khaimah’s economic growth, strengthening its appeal to high-quality investments, and creating broader avenues for both local and international businesses to scale and succeed.
RAKEZ’s performance in 2025 underscores the maturity of its economic model. The authority continued to expand its business base, attract fresh investments, and deepen its international footprint, with the total number of companies operating within its ecosystem surpassing 40,000 globally.
Throughout 2025, RAKEZ further enhanced its service offering through a “customer-first” strategy. Efforts focused on streamlining processes, advancing digital capabilities, and delivering integrated solutions via service centres, the residency medical fitness centre, and digital platforms—collectively improving ease of doing business and ensuring a more seamless investor experience.
Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, emphasised the strong expansion of its business community in 2025, noting that approximately 19,000 new companies were established—marking a 44 percent increase compared to 2024 and pushing the total beyond 40,000 registered entities.
He added that these figures reflect not only numerical growth but also Ras Al Khaimah’s rising attractiveness as a business destination. The results highlight RAKEZ’s ability to deliver tangible value through operational flexibility, efficient processes, cost competitiveness, and streamlined market access. He further noted that the sustained investment momentum in recent years is underpinned by solid economic and operational fundamentals, signalling long-term growth rather than short-term gains.
