First Abu Dhabi Bank hosted a virtual AI Agentathon in collaboration with Presight and with support from Microsoft, aimed at developing AI-driven solutions to address business challenges across the bank. Moreover, the initiative reflects FAB’s strategy to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption and embed advanced technologies into core operations.
Cross-functional teams develop scalable AI solutions
The one-day event brought together internal and external participants, including business stakeholders, technical experts, and global technology partners. Additionally, four cross-functional teams worked throughout the day to design and present AI-based concepts focused on predefined business priorities.
Teams included FAB business and technology representatives alongside experts from Microsoft and Presight. Furthermore, a joint evaluation panel with representation from all participating organisations assessed the final solutions. As a result, concepts were reviewed based on impact potential, feasibility, and alignment with business needs.
Initiative supports FAB’s AI transformation agenda
FAB said the Agentathon highlights its focus on moving beyond pilot projects toward tangible implementation outcomes. Moreover, it aims to accelerate the development of practical, deployment-ready AI solutions that can scale across the organisation.
Through continued collaboration with partners such as Presight, the bank is strengthening its long-term digital transformation agenda. Therefore, the concepts developed during the session are expected to inform future enterprise AI use cases and reinforce FAB’s positioning in regional AI-driven banking innovation.
