International fashion retailer Primark has confirmed the next phase of its Middle East expansion with Alshaya Group, following the launch of its first regional store in Kuwait in October 2025.
UAE Market Entry
As part of this expansion, Primark will enter the UAE in the first half of 2026 with three stores in Dubai. The first outlet will open at the Dubai Mall on 26 March. Subsequently, stores will launch at City Centre Mirdif in April and Mall of the Emirates in May. Therefore, the UAE rollout marks a significant step in strengthening the brand’s regional footprint. Moreover, the choice of high-traffic malls reflects a focus on scale, visibility, and consumer reach.
Wider Regional Expansion
Additionally, Primark plans to enter two new markets in the Middle East later in 2026. Stores are scheduled to open at City Centre Bahrain and Doha Festival City in Qatar. As a result, the retailer will broaden its presence across key Gulf retail destinations. Furthermore, Primark and Alshaya confirmed that they will continue collaborating on further regional expansion in the coming years, supporting long-term growth ambitions across the Middle East.
