Emaar Hospitality Group has stated its intention to offer exciting hospitality experiences in Dubai, the emirates, and around the world.
Mark Kirby, CEO of Emaar Hospitality Group, told Khaleej Times in an exclusive interview at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2022) that the travel and tourism industry has seen “a fantastic resurgence” around the world. “Throughout our hotels, we are now approaching pre-pandemic occupancy levels. Our hotels had good occupancy rates in the first quarter of this year, and these are likely to continue to rise as the year progresses.”
While the Covid-19 outbreak has changed the hospitality business, Kirby believes that brands have grown more adaptable and resilient in the face of unusual circumstances.
“Our region was one of the first to resurrect the tourist industry, and this was due to an effective reaction by the government and industry in revamping guest experiences to embrace issues such as safety, wellness, sustainability, and digitization,” he said. “We will continue to incorporate the newest trends and innovative ideas into structural efficiency and client experiences as we move forward.”
Address Hotels + Resorts, a premium luxury hotel and homes brand, and Vida Hotels and Resorts, an upmarket lifestyle hotel and residences concept, are among Emaar Hospitality Group’s varied portfolio of brands that have announced plans to expand to additional locations in the UAE.
“Our brands are known for photographing the most iconic spots throughout the UAE and for giving the most breathtaking city-wide views,” Kirby said. “With our new openings this year, Emaar Hospitality Group will increase its footprint in key Emaar Properties developments such as Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, and Dubai Creek Harbour.”
After the success of the Address Fujairah, which debuted in 2021, the Palace Beach Resort Fujairah is set to open this year. It will be the emirate’s second beachfront resort. The hotel will have 167 rooms and suites, as well as a variety of services.
According to Kirby, Fujairah is quickly establishing itself as a tourist hotspot that attracts the most selective visitors. “Along with the breathtaking nature and rich legacy, visitors at Palace Beach Resort Fujairah will enjoy ultimate luxury.” We will continue to extend our offerings with the next resorts in order to deliver complete leisure experiences to foreign and local guests.”
Along with the inauguration of the 2020 Club by Emaar, Emaar Hospitality Group made a prominent presence throughout Expo 2020 Dubai as the Official Hotel, Hospitality, and Catering partner.
“During the global event, we catered to over 600 events and catered to over 65 events for international participants, including seven huge national day celebrations and over 1,000 delegations,” Kirby said. “In addition, our dedicated hospitality facility 2020 Club by Emaar, which was located in the heart of Expo 2020 and with direct views of Wasl Plaza, became a focal point and a premium dining venue.”
According to him, the firm recognises the value of mega-events like Expo 2020 in promoting the sector and providing limitless chances for their hospitality brands. Emaar Hospitality Group will prolong its strategic connection with the global event as it maintains its legacy at District 2020, following the event’s success.
Emaar Hospitality Group has recently announced that it is now ready to begin its journey in the Kingdom, beginning with a strategic site that is rapidly changing into a global investment powerhouse.
“The world has set its eyes on the mega-development of Diriyah Gate, which is located just outside of Riyadh, alongside several successful and innovative projects guided by the Saudi Vision 2030,” Kirby stated.
The luxury brand established by Giorgio Armani and managed by Emaar Hospitality Group is scheduled to open its third hotel in Saudi Arabia, after the tenth anniversary of the opening of Armani Hotels in Dubai and Milan. He went on to say that this is Emaar Hospitality Group’s first hotel to create a mark in Saudi Arabia’s ever-changing landscape.
“We want to provide exceptional hospitality experiences to Saudi Arabia’s domestic and foreign visitors, as well as fully integrate into the country’s cultural scene.” “As the second Armani hotel in the Middle East, Armani Hotel Diriyah is anticipated to bring the multi-culturalism and elegance of Armani Hotel Dubai,” Kirby said.
