President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the heads of delegations participating in the trilateral talks between the United States, Russia and Ukraine, which are being hosted by the UAE.
The discussions, which began in Abu Dhabi, are attended by US presidential envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, alongside Russia’s Igor Kostyukov and Ukraine’s Kyrylo Budanov and Rustem Umerov, as well as senior officials from both countries.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his sincere hopes for the success of the talks and for outcomes that would help bring an end to the prolonged conflict. He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting dialogue and diplomatic efforts as effective means of resolving disputes and crises.
He further stressed that the UAE continues to support all initiatives aimed at reaching a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine crisis in a manner that serves the interests of all parties and contributes to regional and global stability.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, along with several ministers and senior officials.
