The UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will begin a working visit to India tomorrow. During the visit, he is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to explore opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation. Moreover, the discussions are expected to reinforce the longstanding ties and comprehensive strategic and economic partnerships between the two nations.
Strengthening longstanding partnerships
According to India’s foreign ministry, this marks Sheikh Mohamed’s third official visit to the country since assuming the presidency, and his fifth visit over the past decade. Additionally, the visit builds on momentum from recent high-level exchanges, including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit in September 2024 and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s visit in April 2025.
The talks are expected to focus on expanding collaboration across economic, strategic, and technological sectors, further consolidating the UAE–India partnership.
