The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Abu Dhabi Chapter hosted its flagship event, the 37th Annual Seminar, themed “Tarang 26: Waves of Transformation, Bridging Nations,” on January 10 and 11, 2026, at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers.
This year’s seminar holds special significance as it was held alongside the 2nd GCC Annual CA Conference, bringing together all six ICAI GCC Chapters for a landmark regional collaboration. The combined event served as a powerful platform for dialogue, innovation, and cross-border cooperation among finance professionals.
The theme “Tarang 26: Waves of Transformation, Bridging Nations” draws inspiration from the movement of waves—symbolising progress, connection, and the continuous flow of ideas across borders. It reflects the spirit of collaboration between India, the UAE, and the wider GCC region, while representing the transformative journey of our profession.
The seminar featured an impressive lineup of over 20 eminent speakers from across the globe, offering diverse perspectives on finance, leadership, and transformation. Notable speakers and attendees were:

- Dr. Abdalla Sulaiman Alhammadi – Chief Innovation Officer & Strategy and future director – UAE Ministry of Justice

- Hashim Kudsi, Co-founder and Managing Partner- Liwa Capital Advisors,

During the seminar, Business Excellence award was presented to CA Ankur Aggarwal, Chairman and Founder- BNW Developments and Finance Excellence to CA Ramchandra, CFO- Royal Group, recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions. The event culminated with a gala dinner accompanied by a live musical concert by celebrated Bollywood singer Papon.
