Temu has opened its marketplace to sellers based in the UAE, creating new growth pathways for local businesses while offering consumers faster delivery and a wider range of products.
This development brings the UAE into Temu’s Local Seller Programme, which is already operational across more than 30 global markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Japan.
The move marks another step in Temu’s wider strategy to support locally registered businesses and enhance the shopping experience through quicker fulfilment and locally managed inventory.
Under the programme, UAE-registered companies with stock held within the country can use Temu as a cost-effective digital channel to reach millions of customers.
The local-to-local model is designed to shorten delivery times while giving consumers access to a broader selection of competitively priced products.
Commenting on the initiative, a Temu spokesperson said the approach aims to unlock new growth opportunities for UAE businesses while providing shoppers with a wider range of affordable, quality products and faster delivery.
Temu entered the UAE market in September 2023 and has since gained strong traction, driven by its extensive product assortment and competitive pricing.
According to Similarweb data, Temu ranked as the leading shopping app on Android in the UAE based on usage rankings published on 1 January 2026.
The inclusion of UAE-based sellers is expected to further strengthen Temu’s position in the local e-commerce market while supporting small and medium-sized enterprises seeking scalable digital growth channels.
