Saudi Arabia has granted Premium Residency to over 100 entrepreneurs from more than 20 nationalities, reinforcing its ambition to become a leading global hub for innovation and investment. Announced during the Biban Forum 2025 in Riyadh, the initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s long-term vision to attract global talent, foster entrepreneurship, and drive sustainable economic growth under Saudi Vision 2030.
The Biban Forum, organised by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at), gathered business leaders, start-up founders, and investors under the theme “A Global Destination for Opportunities.” Serving as a dynamic platform, it promotes collaboration, supports start-ups, and enables businesses to scale locally and internationally.
Entrepreneur Residency: Empowering Founders
The Premium Residency Center awarded the Entrepreneur Residency to more than 100 founders of technology-led and innovation-focused start-ups. Designed for business creators seeking to establish and expand their ventures in the Kingdom, this programme aims to stimulate high-value job creation and enhance economic diversification.
Officials highlighted that granting Premium Residency to global entrepreneurs demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s dedication to building a thriving, competitive ecosystem where innovation flourishes. By providing founders with the tools to grow and operate seamlessly, the initiative strengthens the national economy while attracting talent from around the world.
Strategic Path Toward Vision 2030
The Premium Residency Center currently offers seven tailored residency options: Special Talent, Gifted, Investor, Entrepreneur, Real Estate Owner, Limited Duration, and Unlimited Duration Residencies. These categories enable recipients to reside in Saudi Arabia with their families, establish businesses, own property, and invite relatives, promoting long-term engagement and economic participation.
More than just a residency programme, the initiative forms a key pillar of the Kingdom’s economic transformation. By empowering entrepreneurs and investors, Saudi Arabia aims to enhance competitiveness, create quality employment, and strengthen its innovation-led growth model — all central to the objectives of Vision 2030.
